BOTTEGA CABINETRY — Custom Kitchens, Closets, Vanities & Architectural Millwork

It begins with an empty room.

Measured. Made. Fitted.

Stone, steel and every clean line.

Layered with light and detail.

Designed to feel inevitable.

FROM EMPTY SPACE to considered interiors.

Bottega Cabinetry designs, builds and installs bespoke kitchens, closets, vanities and architectural millwork, every piece drawn for your room, made in our workshop and fitted by our own hands.

The studio

One workshop, from first sketch to final fit.

Bottega Cabinetry is an independent workshop. Our own joiners build every carcass, door and panel, and our own fitters install them. Nothing is bought in as a finished unit, and nothing is handed to a subcontractor.

Every piece is drawn for the room it will live in, so proportions, sightlines and the way the light falls are settled on paper before a board is cut. You keep one point of contact from the first sketch to the final fit.

Services

Four disciplines, one standard of making.

Every commission is drawn, built and installed by one studio, so the kitchen, the dressing room and the panelled hallway all speak the same quiet language.

Materials & finishes

Surfaces chosen to be touched.

We source boards, veneers, stone and metal directly and finish them in our own workshop, so the sample you approve is the surface you live with.

  • Warm matte lacquered cabinet doors with fine shadow gaps, lit from the side

    Matte lacquer

Sprayed in any colour and cured slowly; soft to the touch and easy to live with.

  • Pale rift-cut oak veneer with a straight, fine grain

    Natural oak veneer

Rift and quarter-cut oak, matched across a run of doors so the grain carries on.

  • Dark walnut veneer with a deep, figured grain

    Dark walnut

A deep, figured veneer for islands, libraries and dressing rooms.

  • Vertical fluted timber slats with dark shadow lines between them

    Fluted panels

Solid timber or lacquered profiles that catch the light along a wall or an island front.

  • White marble with soft grey veining

    Stone worktops

Marble and quartzite, templated once the cabinets are in so every edge meets.

  • Brushed brass with a fine, even sheen

    Metal details

Brass, bronze and blackened steel for edges, plinths, frames and inlays.

The process

Measured → Made → Fitted

One team from the first conversation to the last adjustment. No hand-offs and a single person who knows your project from start to finish.

  1. Measured

    Consultation

60–90 minutes, at the showroom or in your home

We talk through the room, how you use it and how you want it to feel. Bring plans, photographs and anything you already love.

    What you receive

A written brief and an early indication of investment.

  2. Measured

    Survey & design

    3–4 weeks

A laser survey of the room, then layouts, elevations and 3D views, refined with you until every dimension and finish is settled.

    What you receive

Drawings, 3D views and a full specification with a fixed quotation.

  3. Made

    Workshop

    6–8 weeks

Fabrication, finishing and pre-assembly in our workshop. Every run is assembled and inspected before it leaves, so nothing is adjusted for the first time in your home.

    What you receive

Progress photographs and a pre-delivery inspection.

  4. Fitted

    Installation

    1–3 weeks on site

Our own fitting team installs the cabinetry. Stone is templated only once the cabinets are in place, so worktops meet walls and panels exactly.

    What you receive

A finished room, cleaned and handed over in person.

  5. Fitted

    Aftercare

An adjustment visit after 6–8 weeks

Timber settles as a house heats and cools. We return to adjust doors, drawers and hinges, and stay on call after that.

    What you receive

An adjustment visit and a 10-year written warranty.

Investment

Priced from your room, not from a catalogue.

There is no price list, because no two rooms are the same. Each project is quoted from its own drawings, and the figure follows a handful of decisions: the size of the room, the materials and finishes, the appliances, the stone, and the complexity of the joinery.

  • A fixed quotation once the design is agreed, so the figure you approve is the figure you pay.
  • Appliances and stone can come from us or from you; either way, we coordinate them.
  • Staged payments tied to design sign-off, workshop completion and installation.

Questions

Before you begin.

How long does a project take?

Most kitchens take 12 to 16 weeks from an agreed design to a finished room: around eight weeks in the workshop and one to three weeks on site. Closets and vanities are usually shorter.

Do you work with architects and interior designers?

Often. We can build from your designer's drawings, develop them into workshop drawings, or design the joinery for them. Trade partners have a single contact in the studio.

Can you supply appliances and stone?

Yes. We specify and supply integrated appliances and stone worktops, or fit the ones you have chosen. Either way, we coordinate dimensions, templating and installation.

Do you renovate existing kitchens?

We design for renovations as well as new builds. We survey what is there, plan around plumbing and structure, and can coordinate the removal of the existing kitchen before we fit.

Which areas do you cover?

We work across the region from our workshop, and further afield for complete homes. The showroom is open by appointment.

What warranty do you offer?

Every piece is covered by a 10-year written warranty on construction and hardware, and we return for an adjustment visit once the room has settled.

Testimonials

In their own words.

They treated our kitchen like a piece of furniture rather than a renovation. Two years on, every door still closes with the same quiet precision.

Eleanor W. Kitchen and pantry

From the first measure to the last panel, nothing was left to chance. The dressing room feels as if it was always part of the house.

Marcus & Lena A. Dressing room

Our architect asked who made the millwork before she asked anything else. Calm, exacting people, and the rooms show it every day.
